Event Details

Join SEGD Los Angeles for a tour of the Museum of Neon Art and the two neon Americana signs in Glendale!

A museum docent will be greeting us and it is $10 for admission.

Online registration is closed but you can still purchase a ticket in person at the museum!

The tour starts at 6pm sharp, as the museum closes at 7pm.

After the museum tour concludes at 7pm, we will take a very short walk across the street where Richard Walsh will guide us to the two neon signs at the Americana!

The Museum of Neon Art encourages learning, curiosity and expression through the preservation, collection and interpretation of neon, electric and kinetic art. Neon is a gateway between scientific principles and artistic expression. Neon illumination integrates electrical technology, creative design, and fundamental concepts of physics and chemistry. The Museum of Neon Art is the only museum in the world devoted exclusively to art in electric media, exhibiting electric and kinetic fine art, and outstanding examples of historic neon signs, for over three decades.

Public parking structure with 90-minute free parking is at 120 Artsakh Avenue, Glendale, CA 91209.

Brand Boulevard street parking in front of MONA is $2 per hour at pay station.

Metered parking in the alley behind MONA (accessible from Harvard or Colorado) is $2 per hour at pay station.

We look forward to seeing you!
