Join the SEGD Boston chapter on December 18 for a virtual in-depth discussion about two new public art installations in Boston's Seaport District: Kaleidoscope Garden designed by Perkins and Will and Urban Grove designed by Arrowstreet. These artwork installations offer spaces for relaxation, recreation, and reflection in a highly valued community green space, the Seaport District's Lawn on D.
Perkins and Will designers Sarah Brophy and Katherine Chin and Arrowstreet designers Lauren Haggerty, Jenna Carolan, and Diana Khalifeh will discuss their design processes, from their proposals and initial concepts to the final design intent. Bianca Mauro and Kyle Wolfe will walk us through the fabrication process for each project, including reviewing shop drawings, environmental considerations, troubleshooting, and other factors that were part of their process.
