John deWolf has worked in various mediums, including print, interactive, broadcast, exhibition, environmental graphic design, and interior design. He has extensive experience designing accessible communication programs, particularly for large public audiences.
Throughout his 30-year career, trans-disciplinary designer John deWolf has worked in print, exhibition, signage, wayfinding, and interior environments. Among his many skills is designing accessible, inclusive communication systems, particularly for diverse audiences.
Design is not only physical and aesthetic, but also cognitive and experiential. Process, program, system, story, service, and experience are integral to Mr. deWolf's interdisciplinary approach. As a counterbalance to consumer culture, Mr. deWolf advocates sustainability, inclusivity, and social and community awareness.
John is driven by a desire to preserve culture and heritage, as well as promote public initiatives that benefit the community. John holds a Bachelor of Graphic Design degree (NSCAD University) and a Master of Interior Design (University of Manitoba).
